5th Annual Kellogg Energy & Sustainability Case Competition

The Kellogg Energy & Sustainability Club is thrilled to present the 5th annual Energy & Sustainability Case Competition, powered by Alix Partners, LDES Council, Chevron, and Guzman. This virtual event invites MBA students from prestigious business schools around the world to collaborate and tackle a strategic energy challenge, with a particular emphasis on Long Duration Energy Storage.

Competition Details

Teams will be tasked with creating a strategic plan for the implementation of Long Duration Energy Storage. This will involve conducting market and financial assessments of their proposed strategy.

Each team should be comprised of 3 to 5 full-time or part-time MBA students from the same educational institution.

Prizes

A total of $12,000 in prize winnings*
will be awarded for the case competion!

1st Place: $7,500

2nd Place: $3,000

3rd Place: $1,500

*Note: Gross amount - does not factor in associated domestic or international taxes or fees.

Important Dates

Case Released: March 25, 2023

First Round Submissions: April 1, 2023 (11:59PM CST)

Finalist Announcements: April 7, 2023

Semi-final & Final Presentations (The big day!): April 15, 2023
