2025-2026 Co-Presidents

The 3J and 2J Co-Presidents set and drive the overall Association goals and agenda for the Executive Board each year, pursuant to the Association Mission Statement and Pillars. The Co-Presidents serve as the main point-of-contact for general questions from students, prospective applicants, and alumni about the Association; liaise between the administrations of both the Pritzker School of Law and Kellogg School of Management; and advocate for improvements to the Program on behalf of all JD-MBA's. Additionally, Co-Presidents manage the Executive Board, facilitate the Association Mentorship Program, oversee Association funds, lead inter-school transitions for their respective class cohorts, and represent the JD-MBA Association before Pritzker's Student Bar Association and Kellogg's Student Association.

In an effort to combat issues of access and barriers to entry into the JD-MBA program and to hold each school accountable to strive for increased diversity and consistent representation across class cohorts, the Admissions Working Group is partnering with the Admissions teams of both Pritzker and Kellogg on the following initiatives:

  • Updating the JD-MBA Program webpages on the Pritzker website to promote external visibility
  • New student and alumni profiles to be published to showcase the diverse experiences and ambitions of our JD-MBA's
  • Increase direct outreach of current student and alumni to prospective students
  • Suggest creative ways to leverage existing Kellogg Admissions outreach to diverse applicants
  • Market to historically black schools, fraternities and sororities
  • Target diverse candidates who indicate interest in JD-MBA programs on the GMAT
  • Improve scholarship funds / opportunities for diverse candidates
  • Set up scholarship through Pritzker, funded by JD-MBA alumni, for diverse JD-MBA candidates
  • Create application waivers for diverse JD-MBA applicants

Community

One of the hallmarks of the JD-MBA Association is the remarkable community that's built amongst current students and alumni. Our goal is always to encourage a community that is supportive and inclusive of all students, within and across class years, and that is built on a foundation of meaningful personal connections. To achieve this goal, the Community Working Group is spearheading the following initiatives:

  • Re-evaluate existing large group events and consider ways they can be more inclusive of all backgrounds
  • Hosting more frequent, small group events to encourage more personal connections
  • Events should be sensitive to different cultural backgrounds, not centered around drinking / bars, and more structured
  • Focus on offering relationship-building events and activities with participants across class years
