The Career Chairs (3Js) help JD-MBA students in recruiting and career decisions at Pritzker and Kellogg. The Career Chairs organize and lead information sessions for JD-MBA students regarding summer options, career considerations, and academic planning for different career paths; and provide guidance and support for students deciding between the law or business.
Chair Responsibilities
- Provide career and recruiting advice to 1J's / 2J's, including but not limited to choosing between law and business recruiting, OCI, Kellogg recruiting tracks, etc.
- Represent JD-MBA interests in recruiting at the Law School and Kellogg, including working with career services staff at both schools.
- Organize and lead informational sessions in conjunction with the Academic Chair for 1Js / 2Js regarding summer options and alignment of academic plans given career considerations.
- Own documentation of careers materials and ensure participation of 2J / 3J's in providing their career / recruiting experiences.
- Act as point-person during JD-MBA recruiting and assemble panels for Admissions events.
