Welcome to the Family Enterprise Club at Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management. We endeavor to advance the knowledge and conversation around the unique strategic, financial, and managerial challenges facing family businesses at every stage of growth and maturity. Through the mutual support and shared experiences offered by our membership base, and the backing of Kellogg's academic program and Center for Family Enterprise, we aim to equip Kellogg students with the insight and perspective to position their family businesses for success into future generations.
The Family Enterprise Club (FEC) is open to all members of the Kellogg community, whether they are members of a family business, interested in starting a family business, or seek to work with family businesses. The Club gathers regularly for socials, as well as organizes speakers, events, lunch & learns, one-on-one mentoring, and field trips.
The Kellogg Family Business Organization (KFBO) is a subgroup of the Family Enterprise Club that requires an application for admission. During monthly meetings, members share the stories of their family businesses and engage in a discussion of challenges and relevant experience within a small cohort. KFBO is a safe space for open and candid discussions. Learn More
