The Social Impact Club at Kellogg (SIC) is a student-run organization. Our group is dedicated to promoting social impact at Kellogg and shaping some of the world's most talented socially-oriented business leaders. We focus on bringing speakers to campus for learning events – ranging from the COO of the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, to an Impact Investing Bootcamp with the Chief Investment Officer of Impact Engine, to Social Entrepreneurship 101 with the CEO of Social Entrepreneurship Corps. We also focus on helping students interested in social impact careers find the best opportunities available and adequately prepare to find their dream roles.
SIC is committed to providing programming and learning opportunities for all students interested in social impact, regardless of their desire to pursue a career in the space after business school. Our club held over 70 events last year that catered to students in each of our four stakeholder groups.
Students, many of whom are career switchers, looking to transition immediately into social impact jobs.
Students looking to transition into social impact jobs down the road and wanting to develop the right skills at Kellogg.
Students previously involved in social impact and non-profit work looking to transfer skills and share experiences.
Students looking to pursue traditional career paths and desiring to bring social impact into their careers.
Our club also serves as the lead faciltator of the broader Social Impact Community at Kellogg, which is a partnership of organizations who share a collective vision of achieving social impact. Read more about that ecosystem here.
