Social Committee

Goals

Event Programming

Execute a smooth transition to in-person social events while continuing to leverage virtual events for those in our community who may not be ready for them

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with other organizations and clubs within the Kellogg community to showcase each other's efforts, all while our members broaden their networks based on common interests

Data-Driven Event Planning

Engage the student population continuously by surveying them about past events and any new events they would like to see E&W KSA host in the future

Social Committee Objectives

• Safely plan and execute social events for E&W MBA students (Note: Each committee member will lead at least one event)

• Organize events such as the Boat Party, Flight Club, Booth & Kellogg Socials, Ski Trip and more!

• Collaborate with other committee members with brainstorming ideas and execution of their events

• Continuously market and attend as many social events as possible

KSA Presents: Nota Bene with Professor Craig Wortmann

As part of the broader Nota Bene series across the Full-Time, EW, and EMBA programs, Professor Wortmann has kindly offered his time on Saturday, April 25th between the morning and afternoon courses to speak with students in an informal and open setting. Nota Bene translates to "Take Note" in Latin. The series allows professors to speak to the students about a topic of their choosing, so we cannot say for sure what professor Rebelo will speak with the students about. What we can guarantee is that the conversation will be insightful and engaging. If you have not met Professor Wortmann, he is a Clinical Professor of Marketing and the Founder and Academic Director of the Kellogg Sales Institute (KSI). It is an honor to have his time. We will be in room Wieboldt 109 and start at approximately 12:15PM on Saturday, April 25th. Feel free to grab lunch at Kellogg Tables and join us for the conversation, which will have time for Q&A starting at approximately 1PM.
