Social Committee

2021 - 2022 Goals

Safe Programming

Execute a smooth transition to in-person social events while continuing to leverage virtual events for those in our community who may not be ready for them

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Collaborate with other organizations and clubs within the Kellogg community to showcase each other’s efforts, all while our members broaden their networks based on common interests

Data-Driven Event Planning

Engage the student population continuously by surveying them about past events and any new events they would like to see E&W KSA host in the future

Social Committee Objectives

• Safely plan and execute social events for E&W MBA students, both in-person (covid-guidelines permitting) and virtual (Note: Each committee member will lead at least one event)

• Organize events such as the Boat Party, Back-to-School Social, Ski Trip and more! (Covid-Guidelines Permitting)

• Collaborate with other committee members with brainstorming ideas and execution of their events

• Continuously market and attend as many social events as possible

Our Team

If you would like to be part of the social committee, please reach out to Ramon Torres directly or attend one of our KSA Committee Boards Info Sessions hosted each quarter!

Purple Stride 5k Walk - Support a great cause and meet your Kellogg peers!

Calling all Wildcats! Come meet fellow Kelloggians and support a great cause with Team Double Purple.  On Sat. Jun. 26, we will be participating in the Purple Stride Walk in Chicago. This event is a fundraiser to support the fight against pancreatic cancer. Kellogg has formed its own team, called Double Purple. JVs are welcome! Just add your JV to the reservation (add a second ticket) to reserve their spot! The home base for the walk is the Wieboldt Courtyard. Participants will meet at Wieboldt to kickoff the event before getting a chance to explore the neighborhood and the shores of Lake Michigan. After a 5k walk, the event will conclude back at Wieboldt with snacks and drinks.  Registration is free, but we encourage a $25 minimum to reach our team fundraising goal. If you register before and donate $25 before June 6, you will receive a Purple Stride t-shirt in the mail.  You will need to sign up on Campus Groups AND the Purple Stride event registration. Use the link below: We look forward to seeing everybody! Wearing purple is strongly encouraged! As of 6/15: Fully vaccinated students are no longer required to complete recurring asymptomatic COVID-19 testing.
