Kellogg Food & Agribusiness Club (kFAB) | Community Events

kFAB's primary mission is to cultivate a strong and engaged food & ag community. One way in which we accomplish this goal is by organizing community events, such as potlucks and local group outings. Here are some of our cornerstone community events:

Evanston Farmers' Market Tour: Every year, kFAB partners with the Evanston Farmer's Market for a tour of the production and 1x1 interactions with local vendors. We often get lucky and leave with a few complimentary treats!

Small Group Dinners: kFAB is known for its legendary potlucks, which are often shared over small group dinners between members of our community or in partnership with other clubs on campus. We use this time to catch up with one another or come prepared to discuss a particular theme related to the food & ag space.

Tours of Local Establishments: kFAB is constantly looking for ways to take advantage of our proximity to Chicago and get to know the local food scene. Recent outings have included touring a local tortilleria and taking a cooking class at Eataly Chicago.

Eat Your Heart Out Valentine's Day Dinner: kFAB hosts a community Valentine's Day dinner featuring bartenders and chefs from local Evanston establishments. Last year's vendors included FEW Distillery, LUSH Wine Bar, and NaKorn Kitchen.
