We will work on an actual deal and learn about his thought process at each phase including sourcing, screening, transacting (term sheet and negotiation), post-acquisition management, and exit strategy. This session welcomes all students and doesn't require prior VC experiences.

Prior to founding Isla Beauty, Tracy founded M3 Ventures, a venture capital firm that invests in tech enabled consumer companies such as Rumble Boxing and Heyday.

This event is for first-years who participated in an IPG like tech, consulting, or retail and are now interested in focusing on startup recruiting. It will cover topics related to recruiting at startups, including:
-Researching companies and building your target list
-Outreach to companies (networking, cold emails, warm emails)
-How to approach startups of different stages
-Interviews at startups (and how they differ from established companies)
-Kellogg stipends for interning at startups
It will not cover topics that are covered in those IPGs, such as resumes, cover letters and 2-minute pitches.
