Grads distribute the tickets to guests through the ticketing system via email or phone numbers. Tickets that are no longer needed can be returned to the waitlist pool. Selling convocation tickets is strictly prohibited.
Up to SIX additional tickets can be requested in the Waitlist tickets option.
Ticketing Closes.
Waitlist ticket requests remain open. Waitlist ticket allocation begins based on demand.
Note: Unfortunately, it is not guaranteed that all waitlist requests will be fulfilled.
Graduates can also send tickets requests within the ticketing system to other graduates. A ticket swap channel will open on Slack.
Waitlist ticket requests close.
No more waitlist requests can be made via the system after this date.
Graduates can continue to access the ticketing system to distribute tickets to friends and family, and send extra remaining tickets to other grads.
Slack channel ticket swaps continue to stay open.
Tickets are required for all guests who wish to attend Kellogg's Convocation ceremony in Welsh-Ryan Arena.
Grads do not need a ticket.
All seats are general admission.
Accessibility requests can be placed within the ticketing system with your order.
Children 3 and under who will be sitting on a guest's lap do not need a ticket. Any child needing their own seat requires a ticket.
Northwestern Commencement is a separate ceremony from Kellogg Convocation, and you have the option to attend both - but keep in mind the distance between the United Center, Chicago, and Welsh-Ryan Arena, Evanston. See map directions here.
