Why Run For a KSA Board Position?

As a KSA Board member, you will have the opportunity to take on the rewarding responsibility of making a difference and creating positive change for all students. Involvement offers a fantastic opportunity to represent the Kellogg student body, to build leadership experience, to network with fellow part-time leaders and to build strong relationships with the school administration.

How Do I Learn More About KSA Board Positions?

This website! Check out the committees tab in the top left corner of this website. All of these committees are led by a VP whose information is on their page. Read up on what the position is all about and feel free to reach out to the committee VP to learn more! Also reviewing the KSA Handbook or the KSA Constitution can provide more information on the procedures of the board.

Election FAQ

You can run for multiple VP positions by filling out and submitting an application for each role. That will increase your chances of securing a position as there may be multiple individuals running for one position.
The time commitments for each role vary, but on average you can expect one quarterly board meeting and one monthly sync with administration. Most VPs commit to about an hour a week, with the exception of roles that involve event planning such as VP of Managers' Ball and VP of Social. Those will require more time to organize and coordinate large social events.
Each VP has the opportunity to recruit a committee of fellow E&W students to work alongside with implementing initiatives and event planning.
