Getting started with Slack

There are a number of Slack channels that could be a great way to insert yourself in the Social Impact community at Kellogg:

• #ew_socialimpact_club : Our slack channel is a great starting point for any questions/discussions you have, or just to meet others with similar interests! We frequently post about upcoming events, relevant job fairs etc.

• #socialimpactjobs : Are you looking for job opportunities in social impact or curious about them? This is a great resource in your job search!

• #social-impact : Interested in conversation around social impact with fellow classmates? This is a great channel for it!

• #energy_sustainability : If you're interested in sustainability, this group is active in posting about events, panel discussions and related job opportunities!

• Kellogg Impact Consulting Club : KICC provides an experiential learning opportunity for members to positively contribute to society.
• Kellogg Cares : Kellogg Cares raises awareness of community issues and organizes service events for the Kellogg community.
• Energy Club : The Energy Club provides educational, professional and networking opportunities that help Kellogg students develop successful careers in the energy industry
• Habitat for Humanity : Habitat for Humanity International is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing ministry actively eliminating poverty and homelessness from the world.
• Mentoring Kids for Success : Through the Youth Mentoring Club, students provide volunteer mentoring to students at Chicago's Holy Angels School.
