Welcome

The Kellogg Private Equity Club is one of Kellogg's most active professional clubs, providing resources and support to a community of students looking to pursue a career in the field.

Whether entering Kellogg with a background in private equity or looking to transition into the industry, we are committed to helping students achieve their career goals through programming that accelerates the job search process, facilitates engagement with the professional community, and strengthens industry knowledge and skills.

As private equity evolves and firms increasingly drive value through growth and operational improvement of portfolio companies, we pride ourselves on providing students with unique learning and experiential opportunities catered to both the investing and operating aspects of private equity.

We’re excited to welcome Kellogg alumni Chris Tanner and Parth Mirani of Paceline Equity Partners for a lunchtime discussion on how middle market PE deal and ops teams collaborate. Chris and Parth's bios are listed below: Chris Tanner: Chris Tanner joined Paceline in April 2025 and is responsible for the asset management and value creation planning of the firm’s corporate investments. Prior to Paceline he worked as a Principal at Leon Capital and spent over 5 years as a Vice President at Kelso & Company. During his time at Kelso, Chris supported 12 portfolio investments including 3 significant exits across a wide variety of industries and engagements including value creation planning, go-to-market, data and analytics, pricing, digital marketing, procurement, post-merger integration, IT roadmaps and cost-takeouts, and is credited with developing the firm’s business intelligence playbook which was scaled across the portfolio. Prior to Kelso, Chris worked for Breakout Capital, a Chicago-based venture capital firm, and he started his career as a management consultant at Oliver Wyman, where he worked across industrials, healthcare, retail and financial services.
