The Kellogg Japan Club (our “Club”) was founded to provide a place where all Kellogg students, alumni or faculty could band together to share their combined curiosity, interest and knowledge about all things Japanese. We have big plans for our Club and in particular, aim to focus our resources on the following five main functions:

  • Organizing of a business speaker series to promote greater understanding of Japanese business and commerce;
  • Planning, producing and ensuring the successful running of the now-famous annual Kellogg “Japan Night”;
  • Supporting related Kellogg programs, such as GIM Japan and KWEST Japan;
  • Maintaining key networking contacts supporting Japanese-related Kellogg events; and
  • Enhancing Business school ties in Japan to expand Kellogg’s exchange program.

Lastly, our Club hopes to promote dialogue and foster relationships through our various activities and events. We hope not only to be active in the Kellogg community, but also to be plugged into the Evanston Japanese community. Through the strengthening of ties with the local Japanese community, collaboration in appropriate events, and service in the community, our Club hopes to become a pillar of the Evanston Japanese community going forwards.
