Congrats for new Japan Club Directors! |

|
Fellow Geishas and Samurais, It is with great pride do we give a big Yokoso! (Welcome!) to our new Japan Club Directors! All of them brought a mix of diverse backgrounds (only 2/8 are consultants.. I think it’s a Kellogg record), skills, and, most importantly, some AMAZING ideas for upcoming events. If you see them in the halls of the Jake, please give them a bow because all of them stepped up as leaders to bring you culture and customs to YOU the Kellogg community. Sincerely, 2012 Japan Club Leadership Team |

Conservatives, Liberals and U.S. Public Policy This targeted towards those who may want to familiarize themselves with the two most prominent ideologies in U.S. policy making this political season. Given this is the first Presidential campaign cycle for many in the Kellogg community, we feel it would be especially valuable as students continue to engage in dialogue about the election and its potential implications for their post-Kellogg careers. Event Details: When: Monday, October 15 12:15-1:15pm The two prevailing ideologies in U.S. policy-making are conservatism and liberalism. An overview of each will be presented in advance of the remaining Presidential debates. Kellogg 2nd year students Spencer Westcott, John Felton, Scotty Kniaz and Samir Mayekar will be presenting, with a audience-led Q&A to follow. |
