JAPAN CLUB ELECTION COVERAGE 2013!!  That’s right, it’s time for us gray-haired (but wiser and well-traveled) 2nd years to step down and let the next generation of leaders carry the torch.  Check out the attachments for info about positions, descriptions, and most importantly, Applications!  Please submit all apps to jstandard2013@ by Mon. 4/22 11:59CST.  In other news which also may require capitalizing whole words, Japan Night TICKET SALES are open.  Check out below for more info and if you want to actually become part of the action make sure to sign up for one of the few spots left!

MOSAIC: Sushi Making Lesson at Todoroki - April 24th
Japan Club
Have you ever wanted to learn the art of sushi making? Join us for a tasty, informative culinary experience where you’ll learn how to create your own style of sushi rolls with guidance from experienced Japanese students and JVs. After the lesson we will all enjoy eating our hand-crafted rolls and you get to take home your own sushi rolling mat. Cost is $15 per person and it is held in the private party room at Todoroki Japanese Restaurant in Evanston. All ingredients, tools, and soft drinks are provided. See you there!

As the event was so popular and we received lots of requests after the tickets were sold out, we are excited to offer 5 additional tickets! The sale starts on Kellogg Groups at 12:00pm on April 21, Sunday.

The Consulting Club and Japan Club are happy to bring you Mr. Robert Mathis, a partner in the McKinsey Chicago Office who has had extensive experience serving clients in challenging cross-cultural engagements. He has spent 5 years working for the Tokyo McKinsey Office and will be at Kellogg sharing his experience working in / with Japan and Japanese companies and his perspective on how the country's business attitude has evolved in recent years.
