Professors Vuckovic & Busse Host NU Campus Read Book Discussion

In honor of Northwestern's Campus Read this year, Professors Meghan Busse and Brooke Vuckovic will host a lunchtime discussion of George Saunders's "Vigil" — a darkly funny novel in which a spirit named Jill "Doll" Blaine tries to guide a dying oil executive toward reckoning with the life he's led, taking on greed, mortality, and climate change along the way. Join us over lunch to dig into the book with a table of your colleagues; copies of the book and discussion questions will be provided in advance to those who register before noon on Friday, October 9th. Note: for those who would rather listen than read, the audiobook is great!
