KIND Events

KIND is a series of conversations, organized to enlighten the university community – Indian and otherwise – about the opportunities and challenges that influence the lives of a billion Indians in the 21st century. By showcasing leaders from a variety of industries and growth journeys, we want to educate and inspire our audience of 21,000 students about the nation's journey to global leadership.

In the past few events, KSAC had an opportunity to interact with Mohandas Pai, who is the Chairman of 3one4 Capital and the Co-Founder and Chairman, Aarin Capital in an informal fireside chat to reflect on his journey so far and his insights on what lies ahead for India and the world. The event was co-hosted with EVC, EWEVC, EWIBC, IGSSA, KIEI, and Kellogg Alumni Club of India.

Recently the team got an opportunity to interact with Charu Sharma and Joy Bhattacharya on building a sports ecosystem in India. Joy Bhattacharjya is the CEO of India's Pro-Volleyball League and is India's foremost broadcasting professional. He was also Team Director at the multiple-championship-winning franchise, Kolkata Knight Riders (Indian Premier League T20 Cricket). As Project Director of the U17 World Cup 2017 held in India, he delivered the most successful junior event in FIFA's history, with 1.3M spectators across 6 cities. Charu Sharma is the co-founder of India's Pro-Kabaddi League, India's second most popular league. He started his sportscasting career in the 1980s and soon became India's most respected Indian multisport commentator and presenter, commentating on Cricket, Athletics, Billiards, Gymnastics, Chess, Volleyball, Kabaddi, and many other sports.
