HMA Growth Day is a day full of events in which you will learn about the impact of the Hispanic community in the US, hear from renowned speakers about the Hispanic culture, and network with the HMA community at Kellogg.
12:15pm: Lunch & Learn with Eduardo Dehesa and Professor Hennessy: "The influence of today's Hispanic market: Multuculturalism and cross-culturalism"
Eduardo Dehesa, Co-Founder and CEO at Liquid Iron USA, will be talking about The influence of today's Hispanic market in an interview led by Professor Julie Hennesy. Eduardo is an international award-winning leader with a keen understanding and ability to change perceptions and behaviors across cultures and continents. His global expertise comes from his uniquely diverse experience, starting with being Chief of Protocol and Public Relations for a government of Spain to being the leader of the Draftfcb Multicultural group in the U.S. to being an international lecturer and feature story journalist in Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Puerto Rico, France and Germany.
5:15pm: Presentation with Juan Carlos Davila: "State of the Hispanic consumer: the Hispanic market imperative"
In over 100 countries around the world, Nielsen provides the most complete understanding of what consumers watch and buy. In the U.S., Nielsen has delivered insights about consumers for almost 90 years. The Hispanic Market Imperative is a report that offers a fresh perspective on the Hispanic consumer segment of the U.S. economy. The presented report highlights the importance of the Latino market and provides insights to help marketers succeed in the opportunities that lie ahead. Juan Carlos Davila will be discussing the findings on the report and sharing his experiences working with the Hispanic Market in the US.

Graduate International Student Association (G-ISA)
A new Northwestern student organization is seeing the light of day very soon: the Graduate International Student Association (G-ISA).
Formed to promote interaction between the distinct international and multicultural graduate student communities at NU, G-ISA supports the International community through representation and advocacy.
On the evening of Wednesday April 15th you are invited to the official launch at the brand new Segal Visitor's Center. Starting at 5:30 refreshments will be provided.
