Hispanic Heritage Month is observed from September 15 to October 15. This month corresponds with Mexican Independence Day, which is celebrated on September 16. Other important dates are Labor Day, Navratri, Rosh Hashanah, Tzom Gedaliah, Arba'een, and Mabon.
National Disability Employment Awareness Month draws attention to employment barriers that still need to be addressed. Other important dates are Dussehra, Yom Kippur, Diwali, Mawlid, Sukkot, Canadian Thanksgiving, Shemini Atzeret, All Hallows' Eve, Shamain, Simchat Torah, Twin Holy Birthdays.
National Native American Heritage Month celebrates the history and contributions of Native Americans. Other important dates are: All Souls' Day, All Saints' Day, St. Andrew's Day, Advent, Veterans' Day, Thanksgiving, Transgender Day of Remembrance.
The last month of the year is full of holidays across many cultures. Some of them are: Christmas, Kwanzaa, Hanukkah, Immaculate Conception, St. Lucia's Day, Las Posadas, Yule, Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe, and others.
Civilizations around the world have been celebrating the start of each new year for at least four millennia. New Year's Day, Epiphany, Lunar New Year are some memorable dates.
We also want to commemorate Martin Luther King Jr. and the victims of the Holocaust.
February is recognized as Black History Month. The month honors those who have endured centuries of struggle, and those who continue to fight for civil rights.
