Welcome to Kellogg Cork & Screw!

Our Mission & Vision

Cork & Screw exists to democratize wine at Kellogg: bringing people together through unforgettable social experiences, accessible education, and a deep dive into the business of wine.

We’re here to make wine fun, unpretentious, and relevant—whether you’re toasting with friends at a small-group tasting or learning from a winemaker-turned-CEO. As one of Kellogg’s top social clubs, we create space for connection, curiosity, and celebration, and we empower our members to explore wine not just as a beverage, but as a global industry that touches everything from finance to retail to hospitality.

This year will be filled with exciting tastings and events, so bring a friend or come and make new ones!

Cheers,
Chris Sparks and Kelsey Allen-Niesen
on behalf of the entire Cork & Screw Executive Board

Getting Involved

Cork & Screw hosts events throughout the year that are designed to engage Kellogg wine enthusiasts at all levels of wine education. We aim to make wine inclusive and approachable for all. If you are interested in joining our Executive Board, we accept applications every October and provide a full list of available positions at our Fall Kick-Off event.

Wine Education

Learn about the wine industry and develop your palette by attending Cork & Screw's various wine education events, including tastings and partner events such as "How to Choose Wine for a Business Dinner."

Social Events

Cork & Screw events are some of Kellogg's most fun and welcoming. We welcome all students to our happy hours throughout the year. Make sure you do not miss our annual trip to wine country each May, or the closeout event of the school year, Diner en Blanc, in June!

Career & Industry

Recruiting for the wine industry or CPG? Cork & Screw partners with some of the world's top wine producers to facilitate networking and career development. Past sponsors include: E & J Gallo Winery, The Wine Group, and Constellation Brands.
