Details
Threadless is an online community of artists and an e-commerce retailer based here in Chicago. It was founded in 2000 by Jake Nickell and Jacob DeHart with just $1,000 of their own money. Since then, Threadless has grown significantly and received many accolades for their innovative approach to crowdsourcing and inspiring designers.
Threadless has recently undergone a major re org. Specifically, they have reduced headcount in non-core areas of their business and are working to refocus their efforts for improved profitability.
Community Manager, Jess Hanebury, and Director of Human Resources, Kerry Puglisi, will speak about the Threadless journey from start-up to where there are now, with particular focus on their online community, as well as their recent strategic changes as a company. Then all are welcome to stay for some mingling, as well as informal Q&A with the Threadless team.
We look forward to seeing you all on May 15th!
