Speaker Bio:
1. Laura Barnett
Laura graduated from the Kellogg part-time program in 2012. She started her career at Procter & Gamble on the Tide brand in the Consumer & Market Knowledge function. From there, she gained retail and shopper experience by working on the P&G Walgreens Customer Team guiding strategy across 22 product categories and 40 brands that P&G sells in the drug channel. From there, she made a jump to PepsiCo’s Global Nutrition group working as marketing innovation manager on brands like Quaker and Tropicana. She now works on Gatorade’s marketing communication team developing the strategy and execution for the brand’s TV and print campaigns. Laura is an avid yogi and adventurous traveler. Her current goal is to become certified in bareboat sailing within the next year.
2. Kevin Casey
Kevin graduated from the Kellogg part-time program in 2007 and left a technology career at Bank of America for a marketing role at Alberto Culver, now part of Unilever. At Alberto Culver Kevin worked on such brands as Nexxus and TRESemme working on base brand marketing, innovation, and global brand teams. In 2011 Kevin started at PepsiCo working on Rice A Roni and helped make the San Francisco treat easier for everyone to enjoy with the development of Rice A Roni cups. Kevin now works on Quaker oatmeal focusing on strategy, communication, and new channel development. Kevin is a music lover and plays guitar. He recently started coaching his son’s kindergarten basketball team and entertains any tips for becoming a better coach.
