Trying to launch a startup but having trouble finding a technical co-founder? Come see Dashfire (www.dashfire.com) present on how to overcome technical and strategic barriers when building a new venture. Dashfire has helped launch over 20 digital startups, half of which were founded by MBAs. Dashfire's companies have been accepted to top incubators/accelerator programs such as TechStars and have raised institutional capital from top VC firms and angel investors like New World Ventures and Hyde Park Angels. They will be joined by Raaja Nemani (NU ’04) who will share his experiences co-founding and successfully raising capital for BucketFeet (www.bucketfeet.com), an online storefront for artist designed shoes.

NUvention Weekend

This October 12th-14th, Northwestern University will be running a pitch competition at the Ford Motor Company Engineering Design Center that will equip you with the skills you need to be successful when looking for angels, sponsors, or other partnerships. NUvention: Web will also be using the Incinerator as a ‘first look’ at students who wish to take the class. If you'd like to learn more, please visit our website.
