Subject: JV Buddy Program and Potluck


Dear Residents,

This event will be held for 1st and 2nd year JVs at McManus lounge next Monday October 26th at 7pm. Please pass to your JVs or JV friends -

 

JV Potluck and International Buddy Program Social

Come mingle with other first and second year JVs and become a buddy or find a buddy. McManus will provide basic snacks and drinks. Bring a food item to share for potluck.



2nd year JVs

Remember last year when you had just come to Kellogg and were confused by many things about Kellogg, Chicago and other issues. If you were from outside the Us, you might have faced the culture shock as you got used to life in the US.

To help incoming JVs, we are trying to coordinate a buddy program to connect 2nd year JVs with first year JVs.

This is a great opportunity to build a good friendship with a 1st year JV and help them ease into life in Chicago. A 2nd year JV buddy will occasionally meet first year JVs, become a good friend and a resource for them.


1st year JVs

Are you confused by many things at Kellogg and Chicago, have a culture shock and are looking for guidance from a 2nd year JV who has been through the same issues as yours? If yes, let us know and we will try to pair you up with a 2nd year JV.
