REPRESENT KELLOGG AT TUCK WINTER CARNIVAL



Tuck Winter Carnival will take place February 17-19, 2017. We've been asked to submit a request to receive ticket allocations (last year Kellogg got 9 tickets...). If you are interested in Tuck Winter Carnival, please let us know by filling out this form. Note: this is not a guarantee that we will get more tickets/you will be able to go. Commitment and payment will be due to the TWC planning team by December 31, 2016. 

There are two ticket types: racer and general admission. Ideally we want to send a race team (6 racers). The racer ticket price will include a ski pass, participation in the race, and a racer’s dinner which will be held on Saturday. Tuck will have two leagues for racers, a competitive league and a more laid back “fun” league. They have not set prices yet, but last year the race tickets were $190 and general admission were $155.

SHOW OFF YOUR BUSINESS ETHICS SKILLS (AND SKI)

You're invited to the University of Denver’s 2017 Race & Case Competition

Race & Case is a business ethics case competition, currently in its 13^th year.  In our competition, teams of four graduate students compete and present on a relevant ethical case for 90% of their score, then head to the Colorado mountains (Breckenridge) for a ski/snowboard race that makes up 10% of their total score. It’s a fun and unique spin on a traditional case competition, and this year’s prize pool is $12,000. Our competition is capped at 10 teams, so competitors have a great shot to place for prizes. Skiing/snowboarding is not required to compete, it’s just an opportunity to enjoy the mountains and do things a little differently!

This year’s event will be held February 24^th-25^th, 2017 in Denver, CO and Breckenridge, CO.

The total program cost for a 4-person team is $2500, which includes transportation upon arrival in Denver, lodging, the majority of meals and ski passes to Breckenridge.

JACKSON HOLE SPRING SKI TRIP REGISTRATION - spots still available!

Who: Kellogg’s finest adrenaline seekers
What: 3-days of skiing, 4-nights of high altitude après for $580
Where: Jackson Hole, Wyoming, with 2500+ acres of in-bounds terrain and 4000+ vertical and 50% advanced terrain
When: February 22-26 (Fly out Wednesday, return on Sunday)
Why: Jackson Hole averages over 450+ inches of snow each year and late February is PRIME TIME for steep turns and powder face shots
How: Registration link will be emailed out at 12:05pm on Monday 11/14 (you must be a member of the Ski & Snowboard Club to receive the email)
