Cristina Helena Zingaretti Junqueira is Nubank’s Co-Founder and the CEO of Nu’s emerging business in the US. She has had multiple roles at Nu, namely leading the company’s expansion beyond Brazil as Chief Growth Officer. Before founding Nu in 2013, she worked for several years at Itaú Unibanco S.A. with consumer credit, card products and marketing. She was recently featured in the Financial Time’s 25 Most Influential Women for the year of 2024. Cristina holds an Engineering Bachelors degree and a Masters degree from Universidade de São Paulo (USP), and also an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
