During orientation, we emphasized that effective leadership starts with self-awareness and recognizing your strengths, vulnerabilities, and how others perceive your leadership. The Emotional Social Competency Inventory (ESCI) 360-degree assessment and workshops offer a valuable opportunity to gain insight into your leadership style and identify areas for continued growth.
The ESCI prework is a critical component of the workshop experience, as it forms the foundation for meaningful reflection and development. It involves requesting feedback from individuals who have known you at least a year and can speak to your observed behavior over the past six to ten months. These raters may include long-term colleagues, peers, or others you’ve worked with in various settings. The more raters you invite, the more comprehensive and personalized your feedback will be.
After completing the assessment and workshops, you will walk away with a deeper understanding of how you show up as a leader, clear insights into your emotional and social strengths, and actionable strategies to enhance your leadership effectiveness moving forward.
Reports will not be available before ESCI Workshop 1.
