Elliott Burris is the founder and CEO of Dynasty.com, an artificial intelligence research company that develops digital employees for the real estate sector. Prior to founding Dynasty.com, Elliott worked at Two Sigma Investments, a leading quantitative hedge fund with over $50 billion in assets under management, and Two Sigma Securities, a high-frequency market-maker that trades in liquid securities markets. Prior to working at Two Sigma, Elliott held internships in Morgan Stanley’s commodities trading group modeling electricity markets and on the floor of the CBOE pricing volatility derivatives. A native of central Virginia, Elliott received his masters from the University of Cambridge and his bachelors from the University of Virginia.

Robert McDonald

Robert McDonald

Robert McDonald is Erwin P. Nemmers Professor of Finance. He has been a faculty member at Kellogg since 1984 and also served as Finance department chair and and Senior Associate Dean for Faculty and Research. He has taught courses in derivatives, corporate finance, and taxation, and most recently, a new course in data exploration.

Professor McDonald's research interests include corporate finance, taxation, derivatives, and applications of option pricing theory to corporate investments. He has won research awards, including the Graham and Dodd Scroll from the Financial Analyst's Federation, the Iddo Sarnat Prize from the Journal of Banking and Finance, the Smith Breeden Prize from the Journal of Finance, and the Review of Financial Studies Prize from the Review of Financial Studies.

Professor McDonald is a research associate of the National Bureau of Economic Research, a former director of the American Finance Association, Former Co-Editor of the Review of Financial Studies, and has served on a number of editorial boards, including those for the Journal of Finance, Management Science, and the Journal of Financial and Quantitative Analysis. He is the author of Derivatives Markets, 3e, and Fundamentals of Derivatives Markets. He received a BA in Economics from the University of North Carolina and a Ph.D. in Economics from MIT.

Scott Peterson

Scott Peterson

Scott Peterson is the Chief Investment Officer of Digital Realty and is responsible for evaluating the company’s capital allocation decisions. Scott is a co-founder of the company and has played a key role in Digital Realty’s external growth initiatives since its initial public offering in 2004, executing over $17 billion in investments. Prior to Digital Realty, Scott was a Managing Director of GI Partners, Digital Realty’s predecessor private equity fund.

Scott has over 30 years of real estate experience, including Senior Vice President with GIC Real Estate, the real estate investment entity for the Government of Singapore Investment Corporation. Scott was also active in investments, development and asset management with LaSalle Partners, a real estate services company, and Trammell Crow Company, a real estate developer. Scott earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwestern University and a Master of Business Administration degree from Northwestern University.
