Please join us for an informal conversation with Jim LePorte (KSM '12), Director of Acquisitions for Abacus Capital Group, a NYC-based private equity firm focused on core and value-add multifamily strategies.

Founded in 2004, Abacus has a well-established track record of achieving attractive, risk-adjusted returns for investors by acquiring, redeveloping, developing, managing and selling multifamily properties throughout the United States of America. Current investments include H6 Apartments in Houston, Trio Apartments in Chicago and Alexander at the District in Atlanta.

Jim LePorte completed his undergraduate degree at Emory and subsequently worked at TriMont Real Estate Advisors and Cantor Fitzgerald prior to coming to Kellogg. Upon graduating with his MBA, he joined Abacus where he has been since 2012.

Jim is making a last-minute visit to Evanston on Thursday and can only meet with students at this time. If you do not have class during this time, please do come speak with Jim - he'll talk openly and informally about Abacus, his experience in the industry, and advice for recruiting.

Dress code is smart casual - jeans are fine but please look presentable.
