Join P@K and KPROUD for an event on National Coming Out Day. We'll have a moderated discussion panel where our panelists will talk about their journeys to being out at work, some of the barriers to being out at work and how to overcome them. Lunch will be provided.

Panelists:
  • James Huberty (Board Member and Chair of Out & Equal Chicago)
  • Mike Burgess (International Tax Consultant at Crowe Horwath LLP)
  • Patti Flynn (Sales Manager at Chicago Reader)
  • Janet Olivo (Global Inclusion & Diversity Partner)
  • Mike Miller (1st year Kellogg student)
  • Courtney Williams (Associate Director - Student Experience, Kellogg Evening & Weekend)
A few topics we’ll discuss:
  • Lesbian/Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender communities have different coming out experiences at work.  Can anyone speak about differences in these groups coming out?
  • How can allies and other out members of the LGBT community be supportive of those coming out, not out yet, or not willing to come out?
Co-hosted by P@K and KPROUD, the LGBTQ faculty and administration group at Kellogg
