Pride@Kellogg and the Women's Business Association present a two-part series on Gender Identity in the Workplace featuring expert business consultant, and author of the groundbreaking business book The Complete Guide to Transgender in the Workplace, Vanessa Sheridan. Attendees can register for either event but are encouraged to attend both! Click here to register for Part II.

Part I starts with an overview of Gender Identity and builds the case for a transgender-friendly workplace. 

Ms. Sheridan will present on why we should care about building a transgender-inclusive workplace and how employers can gain a competitive advantage through transgender-inclusive workplace.

Vanessa Sheridan is an expert business consultant, a respected author, a highly skilled transgender inclusion/awareness trainer, an in-demand speaker on transgender workplace issues, and a leading national voice for transgender equality and gender authenticity. She is currently the Director of Transgender Relations & Community Engagement for Chicago's Center on Halsted, the third largest LGBT community center in the United States. Since 1991, Vanessa has helped organizations enhance their cultural competence through her professional business services.
