Net Impact and BMA are thrilled to host Dorri McWhorter, the President and CEO of the Metro Chicago YMCA and a Kellogg EMBA alum, as this year's keynote speaker for Social Impact Week. A 2019 Inductee to the Chicago Innovation Hall of Fame, Dorri is known as a socially-conscious business leader with a track record of engaging business, civic, and community partners to build cross-sector collaborations. Join us to learn about:
- Dorri's path to becoming a partner at Crowe Horwath LLP, one of the largest accounting firms in the US, and her decision to transition into the social sector to lead the YWCA and YMCA
- During her eight years at the YWCA, her experience transforming the organization from a traditional social service model to a social enterprise- including tripling the organization's budget, completing seven mergers and acquisitions, and developing an exchange traded fund (ETF) for women's empowerment (NYSE: WOMN)
- How Dorri's private sector experience influenced her vision and leadership style for the YWCA and YMCA, and how all Kellogg students can embed social entrepreneurship into their future careers
