The Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI) is a global health organization committed to strengthening integrated health systems in the developing world and expanding access to care and treatment for HIV/AIDS, malaria and tuberculosis. Established in 2002 by President Clinton as the Clinton HIV/AIDS Initiative, CHAI initially focused on addressing the limited access to HIV/AIDS treatment faced by developing countries, where more than 90 percent of individuals living with HIV/AIDS reside. CHAI is a trusted adviser to governments, helping them transform the way they provide health care to their people. Hear from Amber Lung of CHAI (joining remotely from South Africa) and current student/CHAI alum Eric Leventhal to learn more about the organization and its work, along with internship and full-time opportunities. Lunch will be served.
