MOSAIC week - CAPOEIRA Workshop

Join your classmates in a beginner friendly workshop on the basics of Capoeira, a 400-year old Afro-Brazilian martial art full of energy and music that will give you an excuse to get fierce and kick butt. Capoeira is a dynamic combination of acrobatics and martial arts, historically disguised as a dance by its original practitioners, enslaved Africans in Brazil. Through Capoeira, you can learn a new language, play percussion music, and explore important pieces of the culture and history of Brazil. Come ready to sweat, have fun, and challenge yourself!
