Mission
 

Collaborate with CMC (Career Management Center) to address the career needs of the Evening & Weekend students and ensure they are met through relevant, targeted programming and resources.

 


 

Role of Committee Members

Partner with the CMC to:
 

  • Be a conduit between the student body and the CMC – represent the “voice” of the E&W students
  • Continuously improve the resources available to the student body by identifying and tackling pointed initiatives
  • Continuously improve the flow of information from the CMC to the student body

Committee members have the opportunity to make an impact through several current initiatives, including:

  • Club Coordination: Working with clubs and the CMC to ensure that clubs are providing relevant and consistent resources for students across all industries and functions
  • Communications: Developing methods to streamline career-related communications and increase awareness of resources provided by the CMC to all E&W students
  • Coaching: Collaborate with the CMC to have informal discussions about career management and improve resources as necessary
  • Recruiting: Understand the needs of E&W students, with respect to campus recruiting and have more discussions regarding improving the process of campus recruiting

 


 

2019-20 Priorities

  • Increase awareness and utilization of the CMC resources available to Kellogg students
  • Gain a better understanding of E&W student needs with respect to career management, career coaching, career development, and recruiting
  • Host the Industry Insight series focusing on post-MBA careers across seven industries/areas of focus
