KSA Update: This week’s highlights include -
Tuesday: Charity Auction Ball (CAB) Fall Teaser @ 27Live, 10pm
Charity Auction Ball is hosting 27 Live this Tuesday for CAB’s Annual Fall Teaser Event! The CAB Team has been working hard to put together a pretty stellar line-up of auction items to bid on (see attached). Start looking through the auction items and decide what you want to bid on – some are for individuals and others are for groups so start talking to friends now! Here’s what to expect:
Live & Silent Auctions for events taking place throughout the fall, over ski trip, and into the winter quarter (think Fall Ball royalty, Ski Trip penthouses, bar crawls, interview prep, and last but certainly not least, finding love) - LIVE AUCTIONS START AT 11:00 PM
Putting the C in CAB with the big reveal of the charity finalists that will be put up to a school-wide vote starting next week. Performances by the Kellogg Bands (two weeks in a row… whaaaat?!)
Tuesday: REMINDER KSA Town Hall at 5:15pm, G40
Reminder to come to KSA’s Town Hall where we will be will share successes from last year and upcoming plans for this year. Grade nondisclosure, the latest news on the new building, and updates will be covered. We encourage you to come with your questions, concerns, and ideas. We look forward to seeing you there, and snacks will be provided!
Friday: Improv Club and Public Speaking Club host TG
The Improv Club and Public Speaking Club are joining forces to bring you an entertaining TG this Friday! Please join us starting at 5 PM for beverages, conversation, and spontaneous laughter as we set the stage for a great weekend ahead!
Saturday: NU Tailgate vs Penn State beginning at 8am!
Are you ready for the LAST Kellogg tailgate of the year? Come out and join Kellogg Part-time and EMBA programs, this Saturday beginning at 8am as we kick off our last tailgate of the season. Reminder to TILT ($5-10 per tailgate), as we use all of those funds to purchase the food and beer. NU Athletics will once again be selling $25 tickets at the tailgate. For those still unsure about the tailgate location, please see attached map with cross streets.
Friendly reminder, KSA and the SBC are generously volunteering their time to make these tailgates happen, so please make an effort to do your part in the clean up/break down of the tailgate.
KELLOGG SQUASH TOURNAMENT - FALL 2015
Come join the Squash Club on Wednesday, November 4th for the official KELLOGG SQUASH TOURNAMENT. Players will compete to take home the Champions Cup! We welcome players of all levels as we will match people of similar levels against each other. When registering please indicate your level: Beginner or Experienced; this will help us put you in the appropriate bracket. Gatorade and energy bars will be provided, just bring an appetite for some exhilarating play. Squash rackets and balls will also be available for use. Please register by filling the google document and making a Venmo payment (details below).

Diwali Week at Jake:
The India Business Club would like to invite you to celebrate India’s largest festival, Diwali – The festival of lights. There are a host of amazing events planned for you:
Bollywood Dance Workshop (Oct. 28) - Learn some exciting Bollywood Dance moves.
Rangoli Workshop (Nov 4) - Learn the Indian decorative art form made using rice and petals.
Poker Tournament (Nov. 7) - Relive the Indian tradition of playing cards on Diwali and be crowned the Poker king/queen of Kellogg.
Diwali Night (Nov. 7) - A night of infinite fun, unlimited food, alcohol and Bollywood music.

Faith and Leadership Dinner with Dean Blount and Professor Kraemer - November 8 : 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm, RSVP here.
This an a great opportunity to have dinner with fellow peers with faith and spark a conversation around faith and leadership as it permeates through our lives from work to family to studies. How should we act in times of conflict? How can we be a light unto others in different environments? Join us on Sunday night to discuss and share with others.
Kellogg on Growth Forum - November 10
Engage with some of the world’s most influential thought leaders and learn their unique approaches to solving for the greatest challenge facing business today: Growth. Join them for the inaugural Kellogg on Growth forum, which will bring together the entire Kellogg community in an interactive setting to discuss new ideas and share fresh perspectives on Growth at the enterprise, macroeconomic and personal level. JVs: Student would have option to register JV for the Kellogg on Growth Forum. If your student has already registered for the Forum, then they can register you via updating their registration here.
EATZ/AMA Dim Sum Brunch in Chinatown - November 11
Join Kellogg EATZ and the Asian Management Association for a dim sum feast at Ming Hin, one of Chicago's premiere dining establishments, recently listed on the 2016 Michelin Guide's Bib Gourmand. For $15 we'll provide an abundant spread of dim sum, pot stickers, fried rice, noodles, and more. Don't miss out!

Winter Quarter Improv Classes
Interested in joining/continuing Improv Classes next quarter? Great! Here's the scoop:
- Beginner classes will be on Fridays (2:00 - 3:20 pm and 3:30 pm - 4:50 pm)
- Intermediate classes will be on Thursdays (5:10 - 6:30 pm and 6:50pm - 8:10 pm)
They will send out an e-mail with links to register for winter quarter classes within the next couple weeks. Stay tuned!
