JVs Fall Cocktail Party - Oct. 8, 2015
Join the JV's at our Fall Cocktail Party on October 8 at 7-9pm at Koi! This will be a fun evening to meet new people and re-connect with old friends. We will have an OPEN BAR for wine, beer, and soft drinks as well as delicious appetizers throughout the evening. Students are very welcome to join us as well, of course. We can't wait to see everyone there!

Pedal Bright- Bike Light Giveaway and installation! 10/1 at Weber Arch!
Teams of volunteers will install a limited number of free bicycle lights, distribute city bike maps, and provide a quick tutorial on the rules of the road for bicyclists. Bicycle lights will be installed while supplies last on Thursday, October 1, from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m

Berlitz Small Group Language Classes Schedule Fall Quarter: SMALL GROUP PROGRAM $265 KELLOGG/MSMS RUSSELL STUDENTS, $325 NON-KELLOGG — Meets once a week on Wednesdays at the Jake for 8 weeks, materials included. Class runs from the week of October 7th to the week of November 25th. A minimum class size of 6 must be met in order for the class to run. The schedule is listed below:
- Spanish - Wednesdays (10:00 AM-12:15 PM), Beginner level
- French - Wednesdays (10:30 AM -12:45 PM), Beginner level
- Portuguese - Wednesdays (12:00 PM - 2:15 PM), Beginner level
- Japanese - Wednesdays (4:00 PM - 6:00 PM), Beginner level
- English - Wednesdays (1:00 PM - 3:15 PM), Intermediate level
- Mandarin - Wednesdays (12:30 PM - 2:45 PM), Beginner level

Tuesday: Camos and Rainbows Party @27Live (Hosted by Pride@Kellogg and Kellogg Veteran's Association) with a kick-off performance by Groupwerk: Do you love men wearing short shorts…? Do you love women who can do more push-ups than you at CrossFit…? To show our love for both, and to get everyone excited about Drag TG on Friday, the Kellogg Veterans Association and Pride@Kellogg will be sponsoring your weekly "I know I’m still recovering from CIM/POST KWEST SARS, but I’ll go to 27 Live anyway" decision making! Beginning at 10pm, come dressed in your favorite camouflage or in all of the colors of the rainbow!! Groupwerk, Kellogg’s premier dance crew, will be performing their first fall showcase at midnight!!
Wednesday: Flag Football Opening Day: After some serious off-season training, an updated playbook, and significant investment in state-of-the-art PSI testing kits for our referees…THE WAIT IS OVER! Let’s take the section competition back to where it all started (CIM Olympics field) for this fall’s main event.
Friday: DRAG TG: Are you ready for the biggest, best, and most FABULOUS TG of the year?? Drag TG will be kicking off at 5 PM in the Atrium this Friday (show starting at 5:30pm). Don’t be late because it will be packed! Come out and support your classmates as they participate in the performance of a lifetime. The winning section will be receiving $$ for their social fund – so grab a drink and then get ready to cheer our Drag Kings and Queens on as they perform! We will continue to have a family-focused theme upstairs with pizza and soda along with our traditional gathering downstairs.
Saturday: Tailgate NU vs. Minnesota at 9am: We had an amazing turnout for our first NU Tailgate, but let’s keep the momentum going! Tilt now with a suggested donation of $5-$10 to participate in this week’s tailgate as the Cats try to keep this win streak alive when they take on the Minnesota Golden Gophers at 11am. Free NU Game Day shuttles will start running 4 hours before game time and will arrive approximately every 12 minutes in front of the Jake, details here. Habitat Build Day - October 7 2015: Habitat for Humanity Club will be having its first build day of the year on October 7th. The Sustainability Job Search: An Insider’s Guide
Please join the Net Impact Club as they host Katie Kross, author of Profession and Purpose: A Resource Guide for MBA Careers in Sustainability. Katie will introduce Kellogg MBA students to the career options, resources, strategies, and insights that will help them successfully prepare for and navigate a job search in a sustainability/social impact discipline. These include corporate sustainability, CSR, clean energy, social entrepreneurship, impact investing, green building & sustainable real estate, environmental nonprofit/NGO careers, values-based business, and other related “impact careers.” As a director of sustainable business education programs for 10 years at both Duke University's Fuqua School of Business and the University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler Business School, Katie has counseled hundreds of MBA students and alumni, many of whom have gone on to successful sustainability careers.

The scramble format makes this event perfect for golfers of all abilities. You can enter as foursome or as an individual.
