Daniel Blumenthal

Director of Business Development

MDClone

Daniel Blumenthal is the Director of Business Development, North America, for MDClone, an early stage Israeli healthcare technology company. Based in Chicago, Daniel is the company's first hire outside of Israel, tasked with launching U.S. operations.

MDClone has developed a comprehensive platform for medical researchers and analysts, powered by a patented technology for producing synthetic data. The technology liberates valuable clinical data and enables researchers and analysts around the world fast and easy access to clinical data while fully protecting patient privacy.

MDClone was founded in 2015 in Israel by the founders of dbMotion, Israel's most successful healthcare IT company (sold to Chicago-based Allscripts in 2013 for $235 million), and MDClone builds off the founder's expertise in medical informatics.

Prior to this role, Daniel was Deputy Consul for Economic Affairs for the Government of Israel Economic Mission to the Midwest, in Chicago, IL. In that position, Daniel engaged with companies, government agencies, organizations and universities throughout a 13-State Midwest region, initiating trade, joint ventures, investments and collaborative R&D between the U.S. and Israel.
