During this interactive session, Shin will share promising areas that SoftBank plans to play, core technology trends such as computer vision and AI, as well as SoftBank's unique business model that leverages the capability of Vision Fund and open innovation strategy with startups.
Shin will also briefly talk about his career path before & after Kellogg. There will be live Q&A in this session.

SoftBank Robotics is a robotics arm under SoftBank Group, one of the largest tech investor in the world, and known as the worldwide leader in robotics solutions. Since its establishment in 2014, SoftBank Robotics has launched humanoid robots “Pepper”, vacuum cleaning robots “Whiz” and food service robots “Servi” by leveraging technologies of its portfolio/partner companies.
Shin Hara (Kellogg ‘17) is the Director of Global Business Development at SoftBank Robotics. He leads the global expansion of robotics businesses and is responsible for both strategy and implementation. Prior to joining SoftBank Robotics, he had experiences in management consulting at McKinsey and business development at Itochu Corp, a Fortune 200 international trading company.
