Many of our lab speakers come from the VC or PE firms as well as the entrepreneur’s in whom they invest. Who stands behind the capital that VC firms invest and what are their incentives? Ms. Harisha Haigh has managed private investments for Northwestern’s endowment for over a decade. Join us for a fireside chat where we will discuss investing in venture capital, what unique advantages (and possibly constraints) an endowment has, how she thinks about allocating NW endowment, and how the venture investing industry has and expected to change. Bring your questions and curiosity. LUNCH WILL BE SERVED.

Ms. Haigh manages the Private Investments and Real Assets portfolios for Northwestern University’s $10.5 billion endowment. Ms. Haigh is responsible for all aspects of these portfolios, including venture capital, buyouts, real estate, and natural resources investments.
