Malcolm Preston is Global Head of Sustainability Services at PricewaterhouseCoopers, and leads a global team of some 700 sustainability and climate change experts, with over 100 based in the UK. During his career he has advised large multinationals, entrepreneurial start-ups and co-led the firm’s dot.com team through the turn of the century.  He has led the Sustainability & Climate Change team since 2008.

Preston specializes in the measurement and valuation of environmental, social and economic impacts. He leads PwC’s Total Impact Measurement and Management (TIMM) team, delivering projects for numerous clients including SSE plc, TUI Group plc, TomKat Ranch and a number of large Fortune 100 corporates.

Additionally, Preston leads PwC on the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals and, in particular, the role of the private sector in their achievement. He is actively engaged with numerous UN agencies and other bodies on this subject and is responsible for the development of PwC’s bespoke tool, the SDG Business Navigator.

Martin Radvan is Executive Vice President (Deputy Group CEO) of Mars, Inc and President & CEO of Mars Wrigley Confectionery, responsible for an $18bn P&L encompassing all the Mars chocolate, confectionery and chewing gum brands and representing some 50% of total Mars turnover. 

Based between the UK & US and a Brit by nationality, he has a successful track record of leading businesses, integrating major acquisitions and driving business turnarounds, working across multiple categories and demonstrating success in emerging and established markets. He has lived and worked in Europe (UK & France), the Middle East and the US and has significant experience of operating in India, China and Africa.

Martin’s board experience includes many years of attendance at Mars main board meetings and their sub-committees (remuneration, technology, audit). He has worked extensively with the most senior members of the Mars family. He also led the Berkshire Hathaway relationship, including annual meetings with Warren Buffett. 

During his long career with Mars Martin has represented the company in a wide range of functional roles in general management, sales, IT, finance and supply chain across all disciplines, including as Chief Information Officer and running the Wm Wrigley Co and the Drinks segment of Mars. 

Before moving to Wrigley (sales of $6.5bn; 17,000 associates), as President of the Drinks segment, Martin led the successful acquisition and launch of Alterra and The Bright Tea Co. brands. Prior to Mars Drinks, as President and Chief Information Officer of Mars Information Services, he oversaw the company’s global information technology organization. Also in this role, Martin provided instrumental leadership to help Mars transition from a regionally structured organization to one of globally aligned business segments. 

He holds a BSc in Engineering Science from Leicester University in the UK.

Andy Pharoah has a strong background in international corporate and public affairs. Andy joined Wrigley Corporate Affairs in Munich in 2008 and has led Wrigley Corporate Affairs based in Chicago since 2009. Since then, he has expanded his accountabilities to also lead Sustainability and Strategy for the Wrigley segment. Andy joined Wrigley from International PR agency Hill & Knowlton. His early career was in UK politics.
