| Entrepreneurship Club 2015 Resume Book |
|
We will be collecting resumes on behalf of club members to distribute to interested startups and incubators. Any members (2nd year, 1st year or 1Y) interested in having their resumes included in the resume book will need to submit their resume by midnight on Wednesday, January 21. Send resumes to eclubcareers@kellogg.northwestern.edu. Be sure to carefully proofread your resume prior to submission as the e-club will not be conducting a review prior to including resumes in the resume book. INNOVATION CHALLENGE: This year’s team-based innovation challenge asks students to identify a win-win partnership between U.S. Cellular and an outside company that creates a unique product or service that helps families manage their home, health, finance, or education. Please visit the Challenge webpage to review the official entry form and rules, complete challenge statement, and the slide deck from last week’s kickoff event. Please note that the deadline for 1st round materials is this Sunday, January 25 at 11:59p CT. The NYC Venture Capital & Start Up Trek is scheduled to take place February 25th. Planning for this trek needs to begin soon. At this time, we have no applicants for trek leaders. The CMC is working with the PEVC club along with the E-Club to identify 2 leaders for this trek. If you are interested in leading this trek please reach out to Mary Simon, mary-simon@kellogg.northwestern.edu, in the CMC by Friday, January 9th 5:00pm. Also, the Chicago Start Up Trek is scheduled to take place April 15th. Planning for this trek needs to begin soon. At this time, we have one applicant for trek leader. The CMC is working with the E-Club to identify 2 leaders for this trek. | Workshop with Food Entrepreneurs and Local Start-up Incubator | ||

Kellogg is partnering with Now We’re Cookin’, a food start-up incubator in Evanston, to connect students with food entrepreneurs. Sign up to work with a local food entrepreneur to solve one of their most pressing business challenges during a 1-day workshop on February 28th. Details on the workshop and the participating start-ups can be found in the attached slide deck. All participants must apply individually, but feel free to indicate teammates in the application if you’d like to work with a certain group. Applications are due this Friday, January 23th

Location: Cambridge, MA Each year Flagship runs a Fellows program within its VentureLabs unit targeting between 8 and 20 graduate and recent graduate students to work on creating new startups over the summer. It’s a great opportunity as many of the students that participate in the program go on to work at Flagship, or within our portfolio companies. If you are interested in creating the next disruptive companies, then the Flagship VentureLabs Fellows Program might be perfect for you. This 12-week, intensive program is where exceptional innovator-entrepreneurs participate in venture creation.
