The Lavin Bernick Executive Chats are an exciting way to engage with successful and esteemed executives and civic leaders. You will have an opportunity to participate in an intimate conversation around the theme of leadership.

This session will feature Jim Streibich, Founder of Market Track, LLC. Jim is a devoted entrepreneur. While attending Kellogg as a full-time student, he launched the advertising data insights company that is now known as Market Track (www.markettrack.com), a realization of an idea he developed from his experiences in the consumer package goods industry and concepts he developed at Kellogg. The premise of the idea was to disrupt traditional marketing information and research approaches by harnessing emerging technologies. Utilizing his knowledge and experience in retail product marketing, advertising effectiveness, and brand management, Market Track became the preeminent provider of retail product advertising information and analysis in North America. Like most entrepreneurial pursuits, Jim has encountered many successes and failures along the way that now provide for colorful insights, unique perspectives and intriguing stories.

Market Track today has over 1,000 employees worldwide and over 850 corporate clients that include more than 75 of the top 100 advertisers. Jim sold majority interest in the company in 2008 and left its board in 2010. Since then he has invested, advised, assumed interim executive roles, and served on the board of numerous start-ups, principally but not exclusively in the technology field. He is passionate about entrepreneurship and mentoring start-up CEO's.

Jim received his BA from Northwestern University, majoring in economics and European history. He received his MBA from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management concentrating on marketing and entrepreneurship. He primarily resides in Chicago with his wife and family.
