Lindsay Anderson

Creative Director, Designer

Lindsay Anderson is a strategic designer and creative director who has spent her career building and championing brands. Working with small businesses and start-ups to Fortune 1000 companies, Lindsay merges her passion for design and culture with her ability to synthesize complex information and inputs into strategic and meaningful insights. She is a strong communicator who has inspired and led teams to produce award-winning creative. Prior to establishing her own design consulting practice Lindsay was the Creative Director at the Kellogg School of Management where she helped developed a powerful creative group and led them to reshape the brand with best-in-class creative.

Lindsay has played many roles as a designer in her career, starting as an editorial designer at an alternative weekly newspaper in Chicago. From there she developed her interactive skills during the rise of the dot.coms, designing first and second generation websites for established brands such as Caterpillar. Moving to a healthcare branding agency shortly thereafter Lindsay renamed and rebranded Rosalind Franklin University, discovering Franklin’s fascinating story as the person who first captured the image of DNA yet was never credited for her work. Lindsay is a big and innovative thinker with an insatiable curiosity and has spent equal time in marketing, branding and advertising agencies in addition to leading Kellogg’s in-house team. Because of her depth of experience Lindsay deeply understands the nuances of creative teams and how to partner effectively with business partners and clients. Her strong listening and questioning skills paired with years of deep experience allow her to work in tandem with senior level executives to help set strategy while also delivering meaningful, beautiful and effective creative, regardless of the medium.

Lindsay received a BA, magna cum laude, in English from the University of Colorado and is currently working towards a Master of Design Methodologies at the IIT’s Institute of Design.
