Whether you're an entrepreneur, corporate executive or government official, media coverage can "make" or "break" your career and your agenda. It's a high stakes game, so you simply can't afford to engage without proper preparation – both knowing what you want to achieve (your goals and messages) and understanding what they want to achieve (a "sexy" story their readers/listeners/ followers must read or watch.) Even seasoned leaders get it wrong and there is no magic bullet. But there are some tried and tested tips and techniques to help you get it right most of the time.

In this highly interactive session, global executive and communications veteran Perry Yeatman will share what's she's learned over 30 years engaging with the press on everything from launching new companies and brands to managing CEO oustings, hostile takeovers and NGO protests. More specifically, she'll help you learn how to set realistic goals, target the right media, craft compelling messages and handle actual interviews.

Note: This session is the same as the session on Feb. 21st.
