Details
Adrienne came to Kellogg with a dream of creating a company that would help to reverse the chronic disease crisis and transform the healthcare system. This dream didn't come from her career at IBM before school; just 8 months before starting in Evanston, she lost her mom to suicide after 5 years in the mental healthcare system. She took her idea through the KEO and began building it in the NUVention program, but a few months after school, decided to shelve it as it didn't feel like "the" idea or the time in her life to be a founder, and took a job instead at a fast-growing healthcare technology startup where she worked with hospitals. Four years after graduating, she finally launched WellBe as a media company helping to bridge the large gap between the wellness movement and the healthcare system. As a patient, caretaker, former health tech exec and now wellness and integrative health advocate, this female entrepreneur will talk about early stage startups, healthcare transformation, being a female founder, and wellness media.

This event is co-hosted by the Healthcare Club and the Women's Business Association. This event is open to both men and women. Lunch will be served.
