The Broad Residency in Urban Education is a leadership development program that places professionals into full-time paid managerial positions in school districts, charter management organization and state/federal departments of education. While working, Broad Residents receive two years of professional development and access to a nationwide network of education leaders. Application to the Residency requires U.S. citizenship or permanent residency; an advanced degree; at least four years of work experience; and a successful track record of leadership or management.
