Shannon Jones (Kellogg '08), Founder of Halstatt Legacy Partners, is excited to introduce Halstatt's partnership-driven method for Entrepreneurship through Acquisition. Halstatt Legacy Partners' mission is to help exceptional entrepreneurs, motivated by smart risk-taking, great challenge, ownership, leadership, teamwork, autonomy, customer value delivery and long-term financial reward, to optimize their search for the right company to acquire, their opportunity to close the deal, and their ability to manage that business to new growth and profitability. We achieve this mission through teaching our partners "search" best practices, and providing mentorship from seasoned executives, technology tools, due diligence assistance from dedicated legal and accounting resources, negotiation and transaction structuring support and search, acquisition and growth capital.

Halstatt's is not the only way to achieve the ownership and management of an existing business. During our lunch 'n learn discussion we will cover various methods one can employ to find a business to acquire and run, and how to finance the acquisition. We will also explore the personality and motivation profiles we believe increase an entrepreneur's chances of being happy and successful in this pursuit. You will leave the session with practical steps to find companies, attract investors and finance the deal. If you've ever thought about acquiring a business someday, please come participate in the discussion.

Shannon Jones would be happy to meet with interested students on a one-on-one basis before or after the discussion. Any interested students should please feel free to book a 30-minute window on either the 23rd or 24th. Shannon would be happy to talk to anyone interested, regardless of whether they know for certain that they want to pursue entrepreneurship, or do so through acquiring a company.
