Join us for a Lunch&Learn with Elias Revah (Wharton '84), a self-made entrepreneur and former CEO of multinational companies in USA, Canada and Latam. Elias will talk about his personal journey from CEO to business owner and entrepreneur. He will also share his experience in leading large family-owned businesses, and his perspective on the main challenges and differences between being a CEO in the US and Canada, and being a CEO in Mexico.

Elias started his career in McKinsey & Co in the Mexico City office. In 1997, he joined CEMEX - the second-largest building materials company worldwide- as a VP of International Trading in North America. From 2007 to 2011, he was the CEO of The COMEX Group in the US and Canada. COMEX is the fourth largest manufacturer and distributor of paints in North America; it was a private, family-owned company during Elias' time as a CEO, and it is now part of Pittsburgh Paints Group (PPG). From 2011 to 2012, Elias was a freelance consultant for family-owned businesses trying to institutionalize. From 2012 to 2015, he was the CEO of Quaker State (Mexico), a concessionary of Shell and the largest lubricants and motor oil company in Mexico.

In 2015, Elias founded his own business, Pinturas REM de Mexicali, a nation-wide distributor and retailer of paints and other house-improvement products in Mexico. Additionally, he is a partner in Proteak and member of the board of several companies in Mexico.
