Most executives report difficulty in giving feedback—and much attention (rightfully) is paid to this topic, as feedback is essential to top performance. Less discussed, and yet equally pervasive, is the fact that almost everyone struggles with receiving feedback with grace and with an orientation for learning, especially when it isn't delivered skillfully. This session focuses on a) understanding what triggers and obstacles stand in the way of receiving feedback well; b) concrete strategies for managing these obstacles and extracting as much value as possible out of feedback. Among the questions considered: When should I listen to feedback? When must I filter it? How should I respond in the moment and then over time? This is a highly interactive session—participants will be asked to reflect on their own feedback experiences and to actively engage with their colleagues in the room.

Registration will open the week following Spring Break.
